Final Details…

The form on this page is one of the last steps towards the ceremony of your dreams. It asks for very specific details, triggering questions that you may or may not yet know the answer.

I recommend you take a look at the Outer Banks Wedding Resources I’ve selected for you. You’ll have a chance to read from a special selection of Wedding Vows and Readings, and you’ll be able to check out some of the coolest Outer Banks Wedding Venues.

They will help you gather a more comprehensive idea before you prepare to fill this questionnaire.

Thanks a lot!

Ceremony Preparation Form

  • This is where Jay will be meeting you for the wedding
  • For example, Tim or Timothy, etc.
  • Have you thought through the logistics of these two elements? Is the bride being escorted in? And if so, by whom, and do you want me to ask him/her/them the traditional question…”Who gives their blessing that this woman should marry this man?” Lots of possibilities so describe your preferences.
  • * Religious: Very God oriented but not preachy. * Semi-Religious: Including God in the ceremony with a brief prayer/blessing, but nothing that feels churchy or uncomfortable. Very non-denominational. * Non-Religious: Nice ceremony with no mention of God or spirituality. *** Please know that I serve with just as much passion and focus no matter which of the three types you choose.
  • One or Two is great, and Three would be max.
  • ie: Sand Ceremony, Shell Blessing, Honoring a Lost One, Locked Wine Box, etc.
  • How do you want to be “presented” at the end of the ceremony? Mr. and Mrs.___________, no Mr. and Mrs., just first names, or what?
  • I want you to think positive, but just in case the weather does not cooperate, what is Plan B?
  • I AM INTERESTED!!
  • What’s the plan on getting your North Carolina marriage license? They are good for 60 days from the date they are issued.
  • Please consider (both of you) writing a few sentences about what you love about your mate. Be fun and make it you! It's ok, too, if just one of you writes a small paragraph about your relationship.
  • Please enter a value between 3 and 5.
